Buddy Reading

A couple of weeks ago on a rainy Friday afternoon we decided it would be a great idea to share our reading books with our buddies. We each selected a book we had read that week and headed off down to their room. Our buddies were super impressed with our reading skills and once we had finished our stories they chose a book from their class library and read to us. It was a lot of fun!

Making Space Pudding!

During the last few weeks some of us have been discussing the concept of gravity. The boys in-particular have been very interested in space recently and there have been lots of books being issued from the library on the subject. We have looked at a few you tube clips of people in space stations and came across one which showed how the astronauts stored their food and ate and drank in space. This led me to find a particular video of an astronaut eating what he called space pudding! (instant chocolate pudding in a bag) To the Childrens delight we made Space pudding during discovery time on Friday!
