Apologies for the late post but I lost a lot of our photos from our Matariki celebration but was able to retrieve a few.
For Matariki this year our syndicate took part in a class rotation activity. Each classroom teacher selected an activity to teach. In room 9 the children did art, room 11 they learnt traditional string games and in room 12 we learnt the Rakau sticks and a waiata. We all had a fantastic time. The children are often still found singing the waiata and playing with some wool practicing new string games.
